Bryan Emden is an ICF Coaching Supervisor and Tutor. He has been supervising since 2008 and supervises external and in-house coaches. He has an empathic and supportive style and enables his clients to increase their self-awareness. He ensures that clients contract as to the purpose of the coaching relationship and attend to appropriate boundaries concerning confidentiality. He encourages clients to practice listening in the moment and to use different coaching models to develop their edge.
Bryan supports his clients to see what helpful or unhelpful narratives and scripts can influence and affect the process and flow of a session. He offers feedback and works in a psychodynamic way so that the client can understand the effect they are having on themselves and those of their clients. Bryan holds a systemic view of the whole supervision relationship and is able to switch to and from different parts of the system. He is adept at using the 7-Eyed Model (Hawkins).
