Coaching is an opportunity in a one-to-one situation for an individual to have time to think and reflect on their role in their business and to explore and articulate concerns and challenges in the workplace.

After a contract is agreed a learning programme will be devised to augment change, growth and address developments.

This may include:

  • asking questions that help a client get as clear a picture as possible about what they want to achieve
  • awareness of temperament, control and power in the workplace
  • building organisational skills and self confidence
  • handling the emotions of self and others
  • supporting the appointment or promotion of an individual to develop necessary skills to perform their new role
  • reviewing and implementing strategic change and creating a vision or building a business
  • confronting issues relating to conflict resolution and unclear boundaries
  • looking at the effect of stress in the workplace
  • acting as a sounding board and developing support mechanisms
  • learning how to ask for feedback
